read the fucking manual
first time users
don’t know what they’re doing
fidgeting fingers over knobs
pressing red buttons
yanking their cranks
inserting things in slots
they can’t comprehend
the message on the screen
it says: ‘you’re too shitty for this shit’
so they take a baseball bat
and make a few essential modifications

What shall we celebrate in June?

However, you choose to express your creativity, today is a great day to do so.
Interesting, to me at least, is the ancient Greeks did not have a specific word for creativity. But they did have the word ‘poiein’ ( which means ‘to make’) applied specifically to ‘poiesis’ (‘poetry’) and the ‘poietes’ (‘poet’ or ‘maker’).
Today there are many synonyms for poet including versifier, rhymester, lyricist, sonneteer and troubadour. Do you have a favorite term for poet?
Here’s today’s haiku:
National Creativity Day
using words to share
Beauty, Truth or Love may help

Thank you, readers for motivating me with your words.
